What Is It?
This year, IHCAS is launching a new exploration program for youth passionate about research and connecting with university-level mentors. The goal of this program is to help youth adopt research skills, communication skills, independent work, and spark an interest in the field of social justice. Our target audience includes students with a strong passion for social advocacy, as well as underrepresented students in the field of research (eg. low-income, Indigenous background, LGBTQ+, ). Below are some of the things to expect from this program:
Develop research and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen passion for social justice.
Independently complete a 8-15 page research paper on a pre-designed topic.
Build meaningful and supportive connections with university-level mentors and meet like-minded individuals across the world.
